Graduation night

After graduation Charlie Gallagher and I stayed the night, his cousin had given him a bottle of Asti Spumante Father Hess heard about it and joined us. He also brought a jar of bourbon. We polished off the drink and then were riding around Pittsfield and Lenox in his little falcon.
Fr. Hess sure did like to drive.
I remember a Sunday afternoon going out and riding along the Housatonic River through Connecticut.
I think I have avoided highways and stayed on side roads because of the fun of just exploring the road.
